The shaped geometry provides a continuous perimeter seal that remains intact during repositioning and movement, maintaining wound coverage in the body zones most vulnerable to friction and shear stress.

A silicone contact layer adheres gently to periwound skin without bonding to the wound bed, ensuring atraumatic removal during dressing changes. The foam construction decouples friction between the patient's skin and external surfaces, supporting pressure redistribution at high-risk sites.

Deep-well absorbency in the central zone manages the heavier exudate often associated with sacral and heel ulcers, while the beveled perimeter stays flush against skin to prevent snagging on clothing or bedding.
